Overview of the International Conference on Biodiversity (ICOBIODIV)
The International Conference of Biodiversity is one of the initiatives of the scientific event organized by the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya, Indonesia. In this event, more than 200 participants from around the world will be gathered for presenting the current issue of biodiversity, focusing the issue on “Biodiversity: Sustainable Solution for Human Welfare”.
Background
Among the issues of global problems is biodiversity because biodiversity is one of the capitals of life that is very profitable and can be developed to meet the development needs of a country. The random management model that focuses only on economic interests has made Indonesia a biodiversity country that cannot stand the threat of extinction and is the most threatened country in the world because of its biodiversity. Therefore, extraordinary support is needed for any research on the richness of biodiversity in Indonesia to uncover Indonesia's potential for human well-being. Furthermore, the concept of sustainable development which is oriented towards green
economy and blue economy. must be implemented to make efforts to make Indonesia's biodiversity available to provide added value and be more efficient for life, while maintaining the balance of the earth's ecosystem. Therefore, this conference is designed to summarize the results of research on Indonesia's biodiversity; good for studying ecological conditions, uncovering the potential, and various developments of biodiversity in accordance with the theme "Biodiversity: Sustainable Solution for Human Welfare" The conference aims to provide a platform for these stakeholders to discuss biodiversity base sector challenges and opportunities from a nature base solution system lens. It also seeks to provide an inclusive and collaborative space to share and debate new ideas, forge partnerships, explore opportunities by way of disruptive technologies, and learn from relevant players from several sectors of human welfare.

Submission
All of submitted manuscript subject to peer review mechanism. In the reviewing process,there are at least two reviewers for each manuscript for the related topic. Articles submitted by the author in the conference will be submitted to the IOP proceeding that it is indexed by Scopus. However, if the final decision is rejected by the IOP, we will have option to submit in our local journal, namely the scientific Journal of Science & Technology.
Submission Guide for Authors
All of this submission is fully online below procedure. To guarantee smooth administration, the whole submission process is done fully online and NOT by email. Here is the procedure:
- Create (SIGN UP) new account (top menu)
- Check you email and activate your account (INBOX OR SPAM), If you do not receive activation e-mail, please wait 24 hours to activate your account.
- Login to your account (top menu "LOGIN" )
- Submit your abstracts (as many titles as you want)
- Wait until the committee announce the abstract review result
- After announcement of abstract acceptance, make the payment and upload the payment proof through our online system (NOT EMAIL)
- After your payment is confirmed, upload your full paper
- Wait until the committee announce the paper review result
- Revise your paper according to the review, and upload it through our online system (NOT EMAIL)
- Wait for the final announcement of paper acceptance for publication
- Then, please print your invoice for the d-day registration

Your paper will be part of the conference proceedings therefore we ask that authors follow the guidelines explained in this example and in the file «FormatContentsForAuthors.pdf» also on the zip file, in order to achieve the highest quality possible.
